Chinese Garden Research
Chinese gardens are a centered research subject for the dissertation project, Silicone Love – Her Garden. The asymmetrical arrangement between ornate buildings and natural elements frames a pleasurable and photographic seeing experience. Viewing is directed through a combination of human-made space (pavilions, bridges, corridors, etc.) and natural elements (scholar rocks, ponds, plants, etc.) This research explores a series of ancient artifacts traditionally found in gardens, in order to revive and reinterpret them through computational media.
